Video communicates alarming level of
insurance and financial advisor attrition
Camp Hill, PA, (May 17, 2012) -- InsuranceNewsNet’s video The Precious Resource was recognized for excellence by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA) with its Communicator Award of Distinction in the Film/Video Direct Marketing Category. With thousands of entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.
“I am honored that our video received this distinction award, especially given the large number of submissions from global brands.” said InsuranceNewsNet CEO Paul Feldman. “But even more important than the award is the attention this brings to the elephant in the room. The financial industry is losing advisors and agents faster than it’s replacing them. This attrition makes every remaining agent and advisor a highly precious resource.”
Feldman, InsuranceNewsNet founder and president, created The Precious Resource video to alert insurance carriers and financial marketing organizations that the pool of qualified insurance and financial advisor candidates available to represent them is shrinking at an alarming pace.
Feldman’s video resonated with judges who recognized its production values, content and execution at the 18th annual Communicator Awards on April 30.
The 2012 Communicator Awards received more than 6,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design and public relations firms. Every Communicator Award winner is selected by IAVA members, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. Entries are judged strictly on craft.
